Jay-Z has been accused of forcing his tenants out of the homes that are owned by his company, SCC North American Realty LLC.
The rapper owns part of the housing company and is being reported that his legal team are trying to evict the tenants. FoxNews.com reports that the company owns the property at 603 North American Street, and an unnamed tenant told them: “I’m scared of Jay-Z. I’ve endured endless harassment from his team of lawyers, and I can’t take it anymore.”
They added: “I don’t know when this drama is going to end.”
There appears to be no real reason for the eviction and the tenants claim that depsite paying their rent, they have still been threatened with legal action.
It was reported earlier this week that Jay’s 40/40 Club in New York has been hit with protestors who claim that the staff who are carrying out construction work on the site are not being paid adequately.
Is Jay-Z a dodgy businessman?
